Bringing more women to the top of the German real estate industry - that is the goal of the FRAUEN !N FÜHRUNG (F!F) initiative. Founded as a non-profit association in Frankfurt am Main in 2019, the initiative campaigns for more women and more diversity in the management levels of the German real estate industry.
The real estate industry, one of Germany's largest economic sectors, shapes the face of our cities, buildings and creates living spaces. It therefore has a decisive influence on how encounters and exchanges, social participation and inclusive coexistence succeed in our society.
In order to live up to this responsibility, the industry needs a new cultural self-image. More women and diverse perspectives in management positions enable better and more sustainable decisions. They strengthen the innovative power of companies, their social acceptance and make the industry more attractive to talented people and younger generations.
Mixed management teams and an open, inclusive corporate culture, work-life balance, breaking down gender stereotypes and traditional role models - topics that affect and concern men just as much as women today. This also applies to the real estate industry, one of the largest economic sectors in Germany.
And yet there is a lack of male voices in the public debate as well as in conversations in companies and in private circles. The initiative FRAUEN !N FÜHRUNG (F!F) wants to change this, because change can only happen together! With the Male Ally campaign the initiative FRAUEN !N FÜHRUNG (F!F) shows men as male allies on the way to more women in leadership. Men who stand up for equal rights in the world of work, for more diversity of perspectives in the design of our cities and buildings and for an open, inclusive real estate industry and society - as colleagues, fathers, mentors, friends or managers.
