On January 1, 2026, Cotecda GmbH will take over commercial property management for the City-Center Bergedorf on behalf of the IPH Group. Starting in 2026, IPH will provide full-service center management for the renowned Hamburg center on behalf of Principal Asset Management. The IPH Group has been responsible for leasing since March 2025.
With the official signing of the contract by the managing directors of the IPH Group and Cotecda GmbH on the last day of EXPO REAL, the foundation stone was laid for the strategic partnership with IPH in the field of commercial property management. “We are delighted about the trust placed in us by IPH and look forward to a successful collaboration with all parties involved,” said Carsten Wesner.
The City-Center Bergedorf offers over 80 specialty stores with a retail space of approximately 40,000 square meters. Anchor tenants include P&C, C&A, TK MAXX, and Edeka. The City-Center Bergedorf's mix of uses is rounded off by 90 apartments, various district office and City of Hamburg facilities, and a medical center.
